16.07.2012|id systeme is now initperdis

We already have reported that the init AG in Karlsruhe – in place since 2002 with 44% shareholder of id systeme GmbH – was transferred all shares end of 2011. This is connected with the aim to strengthen our company in long term and make it competitive in international markets.

id systeme was founded in 1995 in Germany, this name is not usable internationally. init stands for innovative IT solutions and innovation in traffic systems, which also fits very well with our product PERDIS.

Our motto has been: id systeme is PERDIS and PERDIS is id systeme, company and product are inseparably linked. This does not change in the future. In future, the copyrighted product name and the membership to the init group are directly integrated into the company name.

initperdis GmbH is now a 100% subsidiary of init AG, which will continue to provide leading IT solutions in public transport. The init group is now able to offer you the whole process chain from scheduling to accounting with own products.

Our location will remain in Hamburg. All employees will remain with their known functions as your contact. Only the internet addresses changed to initperdis.

We can assure all customers that we will continue to supply them in the usual way with reliable care.

We look forward to continuing the work with you.

Kind regards from Hamburg
Your PERDIS-Team

23.05.2012|CyRide has partnered with init / id systeme

CyRide, the city transit system for Ames, Iowa has partnered with id systeme and INIT to implement an advanced rostering, bid-dispatching, timekeeping and online bidding system for their agency’s staff and operational needs. CyRide currently operates 12 routes with a peak pullout of 59 buses and approximately 150 drivers. MOBILE-PERDIS will perfectly adapt to CyRide’s expected growth over the length of the contract.

MOBILE-PERDIS, id systeme’s bid dispatch system, will allow CyRide to perform automatic or manual dispatching functions. In addition, the software streamlines dispatching making the dispatcher aware of the exact runs his drivers are assigned to. MOBILE-PERDIS also automatically assigns drivers to a work schedule and runs consistency checks validating the work rules and sending the dispatcher a warning if there is an issue. MOBILE-PERDIS will give CyRide the advantage to monitor employee performance and reviews and has the capacity to be configured to satisfy multi-union rules.

The new contract was scheduled to begin on March 30, 2012 and complete implementation is expected by the Summer of 2012.

About Ames – CyRide:
CyRide is a partnership between the ISU Government of the Student Body, Iowa State University administration, and the City of Ames, Iowa, and provides public transportation to the community in the city of Ames. CyRide served over 5 million passengers in 2011 and was recently recognized as the “nation’s small urban transit system with the highest number of rides per capita" at 106 rides per capita.

19.12.2011|id systeme strengthens its market position

id systeme has been very successful in the European market for years now. The PERDIS system is established as a market leader in Germany and the Netherlands. The expansion of our business to include international markets requires intensive cooperation with competent partners as an increasing number of complete packages and integrated planning and dispatch systems are being put out to tender. For this reason, id systeme has been working closely with init innovation in traffic systems AG (headquarters: Karlsruhe) since 2002.

The managing partners of id systeme have now reached an agreement with init, which had a 44% share up to now, to sell the remaining company shares to it. The relevant contract is to be signed before the end of the year.

Transferring the company shares will improve the market opportunities for both companies with regard to international projects. The init distribution channels will open up new markets for products from id systeme, especially in North America and Asia. The resulting further development of the PERDIS system will also benefit the existing users.

PERDIS is already integrated into the init product range, and it expands the application options of the init software solutions. As before, PERDIS will remain an open system which can continue to be used in other system constellations too in future.

The transfer also clarifies the issue of long-term corporate succession at id systeme. Both managers will continue to lead the company with undiminished dedication. The location will be still Hamburg. For this reason the future product development is guaranteed and the contacts familiar to PERDIS users and our partners will remain as they are.

27.04.2011|Gold Coast Transit partners with id systeme

In conjunction with INIT, id systeme recently signed a contract with Gold Coast Transit (GCT) to provide PERDIS, an advanced rostering, bid-dispatching and timekeeping system that accommodates work and vacation selections, work assignments, absences, timekeeping and payroll. In addition, INIT is providing an innovative scheduling solution (MOBILE-Plan) for GCT’s fixed-route fleet.

GCT has selected PERDIS for it’s ease of use and ability to configure software without customization. The software eases dispatcher workloads and also conforms seamlessly to current business rules and practices. With an interface to the FleetNet payroll system, PERDIS will enable GCT to seamlessly manage employees while they increase their operational efficiency as their expected growth over the coming years unfolds.

INIT’s MOBILE-Plan will optimally design schedules, blocks, and runs for GCT’s fixed-route fleet. Presently, GCT operates 39 peak vehicles with 100 drivers on 23 routes, but the agency expects to double its staff over the next 10 years and expand its fleet to 125 vehicles or more by 2021. The ‘go live’ dates for the new software are expected sometime in summer of 2011. id systeme hopes that this is one of many future projects in North America.

GCT provides fixed-route bus and paratransit services in Western Ventura County, California to the cities of Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura, and in the unincorporated County areas between the cities. The service area is approximately 91 square miles with a population of nearly 400,000. GCT's buses served 3.5 million passenger boardings in fiscal year 2010, and operated 2.1 million miles of revenue service. GCT operates a total fleet of 78 fixed route buses and paratransit vans using clean burning compressed natural gas (CNG). GCT operates its own onsite CNG fueling station.

25.01.2011|Syntus renews licenses for PERDIS system

Syntus B.V., located in Doetinchem, The  Netherlands began a partnership working with PERDIS in 2004. At that time the company was a subsidiary of Connexxion (NL), but today Syntus is a shared partner company of NS Groep N.V. (NL) and Keolis S.A. (FR).

Due to the recent transport concessions, Syntus has been awarded additional service regions in Overijsel and Veluwe, and as a result has renewed their contractual agreement for PERDIS. The system will provide an upgrade for unlimited license use and will be prepared for future expansion.

The necessary parameterization work for new tariffs has just been finalized by id systeme.
